The island is absolutely beautiful. Many people probably like it for all different reasons. Some for the lake and the beautiful views. We like the beautiful views of the lake, but we really love the island for all of the farm land! We'd be great country folk I tell ya :) and some day we hope to be. Here are some pictures from our visit last weekend. It was a last minute trip and so worth it. Every few mins Abigail would start yelling excitedly from the back saying "moose, moose, moose". She was so thrilled with the cows and she always has been although she use to know they were cows and now calls any four legged creature a moose as does Lilly a deer. Kids are hilarious I tell ya :)

There were a ton of them and calves too but these ones just happened to be in good picture view from the drivers window :) I took this picture right over Liam from the passenger side.There may be some possibility of moving to Amherst Island. Nothing solid though. We hope we will have some news about our move in the VERY near future.

That's too funny that they were lying on the boat deck to see out! Looks like you all saw a lot of "moose" animals LOL!!
