Making Memories of Us

These are moments we will remember for eternity… thanks Gramma for making memories of us! My girls will remember forever (so will I). Love you tonnes! XO

DSC_0004  How many 87 year old Great Grammas do you know who lay in the snow to make snow angels with their Granddaughters? I know one and love her so!

Friday Night Bowling

Last night I took Lilly and Abby to meet some friends for a fun night of bowling. And what a fun night it was! Abby kicked some bowling butt her first time ever bowling. She bowled a 100! Seriously awesome!! We have now added bowling to our fun list. I think we may have to go again really soon! Thanks Jess, Noah and Madden. We had a blast with you!

And of course, what is a blog post without some pictures to document our fun? Here you go…

The New Me.

I now wear glasses for most of the day. Not just for night driving anymore. It feels weird. I am sure it will take awhile to get use to. I THINK I like my new look… I better be sure though because I will have these babies for at least two years! The look is slowly growing on me….

What do you think?

Shovelling is Fun!

The girls’ new favourite task is shovelling with Mommy. We have done it the past couple of days together and they sure enjoy “helping”. I am so glad they are having fun  it makes it impossible for me to get frustrated with them when they carry snow into the garage and dump it, or when they dump a huge pile in the middle of the freshly shovelled spots! Look at those faces! Adorable. Nella sat in the driveway the whole time observing us. She loved it too!

DSC_0052And I had to include Charlie even though the picture is horrible. She actually loves the snow shovelling the most. She jumps like a fool in the air to catch snow on her face and in her mouth! Crazy dog!

I Heart Faces–Best Face Photo of 2010

                                                 ihf_logo

Wow! It has been almost FOREVER since I have entered in i heart faces. And three posts in one day is so over the top for me lately! I saw this weeks entry though and was drawn back into the challenge. I am not very good at deciding on ONE particular photo, but I did choose only one. Hope it was the right one. Clearly I have still not advanced in the editing department {wish I had more time to learn and grow in that}. It will all come with time I am sure. So after you check out my best face photo of 2010, head on over to i heart faces to see everyone else’s who entered!

Walking in a Winter Wonderland

We met up with some great friends for a walk at Lemoine Point yesterday. It was chilly, but snowing ever so lightly, and it made for a fun and beautiful walk together. So glad to catch up with you guys before the holidays ended. Thanks for the wonderful gifts also. The girls have been playing with their magnetic dolls already!

Happy New Year!

Hope 2011 is filled with much love and happiness. Happy New Year to all!

We all spent the day together yesterday with friends and came home for a quiet evening. The kids off to bed and Liam and I watched some Gilmore Girls and had some finger foods and we were both in bed by eleven. We did have intentions on staying up until midnight but we couldn’t do it. I just kept thinking about how tired I was and how the kids were going to be up early in the morning and lacking sleep would cause me to not deal with that very well. We still brought in the new year together though, even if we were all snoring! Hope your night was filled with some sort of excitement!
