Grampa and his girls enjoying the choo choo train. They played with the train together for over an hour! Grampa said next year he will have one with a remote for them if Gramma lets him buy one :) I think it may be worth it Grampa... next year Tessa can enjoy it too!

We had a great Christmas Eve, and by the time everyone left we (Liam and I) could have hit the pillows. Unfortunatly though Momma had to tidy up and get ready for Santa to arrive. I didn't want Santa to see my house in a mess! Lilly did not want to go to sleep at all. She was so worried about Santa sneaking in the house while she was the only one downstairs. She told her Daddy to tell Charlie to be nice to Santa and to write a note to Santa to tell Charlie "off" when she tried to jump on him! LOL Kids think of everything!!
We got awoken Christmas morning at 6:45am by Abigail. We had a great night sleep (thanks Tessa)! Tessa went 8 hours between feedings... must have been that shirt she was wearing :) All Mommy wants for Christmas is a silent night! LOL Abigail and Daddy went downstairs and made some noise until Lilly woke up. We all came in and opened stockings and the girls opened their gifts. Lilly was pleased with everything. Abigail you couldn't really tell, but we know she enjoyed opening the gifts because she kept saying "more, more, more"!
After all the gifts were opened and girls all bathed and dressed we headed to Aunt Wendy's for brunch and then after went to Mom's for a lovely Christmas dinner! Yummy!
Here are some pictures of our day...
This year's Christmas was so great and VERY memorable. We had our beautiful Tessa and the other girls were both old enough to throughly enjoy their day and enjoy the time with family surrounding them!
Hope everyone else had a special Christmas also!

Christmas Eve Liam and I had my Dad and Brother's family over at our place. There were 11 of us all together. Dad, Myself and Liam and the girls, Jeremy, Jody, Scott, Tanner and Kylie all crowded into my living room and kitchen for appitizers and presents. We had a really great time and it was so much fun watching the kids play together and have fun! The girls got comepletely spoilled as did we. Here are some pictures of our family night...

All Aboard...

the gingerbread train! Our yearly tradition is to make a gingerbread house together. We have done it for the last few years and Lilly has loved it. This is the first time Abigail has been involved and she had a blast too! This year we built a gingerbread train (for something different). Daddy had to do a lot of helping since it was kind of complicated to put together, but the girls did not find the deccorating complicated at all and did a fantastic job... don't you think? Can't wait to share it with our friends! Yummy!!

The girls are feeling almost perfect today. Tess is still pretty stuffy but she is managing well. Jess came over again today for some more pictures. She took a bunch of newborn shots for her portfolio of Tessa and I will post some as soon as she gets a chance to edit them. Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend. We will be staying pretty close to home this weekend as we have a very busy week ahead of us! Christmas is coming quickly!! Ho Ho Ho!

A House Full of Sickies! Yuck...

My baby girls are sick... all three of them actually! Lilly is almost done this silly cold already. She is the quickest at bouncing back that is for sure. Abigail is a trooper I tell ya, but fights these rotten colds for much longer. She started to show signs of being sick on Monday (Lilly too) with runny noses and sneezing lots. I tried so very hard to keep both girls away from their baby sister but that is almost an immpossible feat. Tess started showing signs in the middle of the night on Wednesday. Of course after her doctors appointment when they were so pleased with her and how she was up almost a whole pound from birth weighing in a 9 lbs 4 oz! She was so congested and when I laid her down in her craddle she thew up her whole bottle (poor thing). The rest of the night we kept her propped up to sleep because it was easier for her to breathe that way. I didn't know a baby only two weeks old could get sick... well, they can! I took her back to the doctor today in the middle of this huge snow storm. Liam came home from work to take care of Lilly and Abby while I went. I was reassured at her appointment that she was doing well and that I should use salinex to loosen things up and help her breathe better. Since I have given it to her she is MUCH better and I can tell we are going to have a better night tonight. I may even try laying her down tonight... we will see how things go. Hopefully by tomorrow everyone will be feeling a bit better and we can enjoy a nice relaxing weekend.... I do hear though that when this storm stops, another one will follow soon after. Good thing we have that gingerbread train to make... yummy! Can't wait!!

Some Sneak Peaks!

Jess took our family photos yesterday and has started editing already! I have been sent a few pictures already and could not wait to post them so here they are! The girls were very well behaved and very patient. Lilly said next time Jess shouldn't take so long taking our pictures though! LOL Tessa was wide awake for a long time while Jess was here but decided to start fussing right during our family shots... hopefully she got some good family ones... I am sure she did!
