This Little Girl

This little girl is SO blessed.
With three big sisters who love her very much.
Like head over heals love her.
And this makes Momma so very proud.
Beaming happy.

And they can barely take their hands off of her
and they kiss her and console her when she cries.

This little girl is getting spoiled.
And she would really have it no other way!

Learning to Ride!

Oh my Stars she is getting too big! {tear} Learning to ride without her training wheels. Begged Daddy for this! What's next? Never mind... I don't want to know!

What We've Been Up To

We have been busy...

We have been busy catching up with and reuniting with distant cousins from the US who come to visit and celebrate the marriage of another cousin.

Enjoying the bucks (yes two!) who continually visit in our backyard and feed on the apple trees daily.

We have been busy practicing our swimming skills in Wendy's pool and screaming in excitement for our new found freedom of only water wings to keep us afloat!

Or saying a beautiful farewell to my Great Aunt Jean who has touched so many lives with her generous spirit.

We have been busy enjoying the beauty of the little things like when asking our 19 month old to climb off of that chair her little sweet voice ringing in our ears "O'tay".

Or the excitement of removing training wheels from our bike and Daddy teaching us how to ride a two wheeler! Almost there! Almost there!

We have been busy packing up four small children and heading two or more full hours away to Bowmanville Zoo for an awesome encounter with some of God's finest handy work. Those beautiful creatures that we got to have such an up-close personal encounter with.

Or celebrating the birthday of a 1st cousin to me and best friend and to my children "Anna" or "Auntie Nan". We love you! Happy Birthday.

We have been busy teaching family friends the finest way to eat marshmallow ice cream cones, or chocolate cake with melted ice cream.

Or staying up past our bed times and enjoying those few extra minutes of sleep in in the mornings.

We have been busy taking in sweet baby smiles and giggles, weeding gardens, cleaning sun rooms, skipping rope, climbing, sliding, swinging and singing, playing tractors or make believe, building forts and putting our feet up.

We have been busy with life and not blogging, with taking beautiful pictures of distant cousins and their kiddos, enjoying them, wanting to share them but feeling content to just keep looking back at all of the memories I have captured all these busy days and take them in... just myself. Because that is okay too.

We have been busy, happy and sad. We have been busy with this thing called life. But we are back now and still feeling overwhelmed, but that IS life and we are here.

We have been busy and I am sure you have too!

It's True What They Say

That fresh air or even smothering humidity and heat make a baby sleep! Who are they anyhow? You know... the older folk. Like my Gramma and Liam's Nanny who use to put their babies outside to sleep. In the days where kidnapping wasn't an issue. Even Liam's Mom said she put him outside in the driveway in a carriage to get some zs! Seriously!

Well, by no means did I let my sweet Nella stay outside and sleep alone. I was by her side the whole time! I swear! And the girls? They frolicked in the sprinkler and dunked in the pool to keep cool! It is the first we have spent any amount of significant time outdoors in days! And it ended sooner than expected after a few time outs! Come on, they don't always act as sweet as they appear to look in blog land! Welcome to our life :)

Blogger is being a bummer again. No big pitures. But, I WILL fix it as soon as I can. Isn't she beautiful?

More From Canada Day...

We spent the afternoon in Bath with my Mom and Step Dad Canada Day! It was a beautiful day out and the girls were spoiled with treats, pizza and cotton candy! Thanks so much for joining us Gramma and Grampa! Lilly, Abigail, Liam and I are so very grateful. I am sure if Tessa and Nella were older they would be too! So glad we could spend some time with you guys :)

Here are a few more pictures of the girls. And the last one to show Candice she did actually have a melt down in the grass after being ignored for a minute! It is important to catch the not so happy real moments too!

A Rare Moment

We have kind of gotten use to taking many posed pictures at one time. The girls with Mommy then the girls with Daddy or Mommy and Daddy together -- I am beginning to think I need to figure out the timer on my camera so we can get photos of us all together at the same time more regularly. It is important for us to have those moments captured.

And thanks to a nice passing boater today at Kingston Mills who offered to take a photo of our whole family-- We ended up with this capture! So thankful for it too!

Happy Birthday Liam

I am a little late in posting this but yesterday was Liam's birthday. It ended up being a great evening but not quite like I had planned it to go. I planned to pick us up some dinner but the girls were napping so poor Liam had to pick up his own birthday supper! Good thing he didn't mind. He had his four princess' to spend the evening with him and shower him with homemade cards and kisses! What else could a man ask for? Except maybe a canoe to go fishing in -- which he did get too!

Happy 34th Birthday Liam! We love you so stinkin' much! Especially for picking up your own birthday supper! XO
