Skating Lesson #1

Lilly's first skate lesson today went great! At first she was a little hesitant and stayed really close to the boards. She was quickly persuaded by her instructor to come away from the boards so that if she fell she wouldn't hit her head against them. Great thinking! She scooted along very well I must say. She did have a lot of falls but had no problem at all getting right back up from the middle of the ice. She is a natural! It was cute watching all the kids go. It was up and down all 25 minutes for everyone! Some even just stayed down and slid on their knees to fetch all the animals on the ice! LOL It was cute. We are looking forward to next weeks lesson where I know she will have improved even more! Way to go Lilly! Mommy is so proud of you! Keep practicing and you will be playing hockey next season!
