How lovely are thy branches!
We headed out after Liam returned for a morning deer hunt, in hunt for our Christmas tree. We came home with the most perfect, beautiful tree ever! I must say I am a good judge of size... last year Liam picked the tree and it was WAY too big to fit in the living room and he had to cut so much off of it it was unreal. I have made myself the new official Christmas tree picker!
After we got the tree home and into the stand we headed out for a little bit and picked up some appitizers for dinner (good tree decorating food). We had sausage rolls, butter garlic shrimp (they were amazing), popcorn shrimp, chicken fries (for the girls), bruschetta and a shrimp ring! It was yummy! The girls went crazy over the popcorn shrimp which was great.
Then we started decorating... Lilly helped Mommy hang the lights and ribbon and then all of us girls hung the decorations while Daddy sat back and watched (the ussual). Abby mostly handed decorations to Mommy and Lilly and we did the hanging of them. Lilly has a great eye for decorating the tree and hung the decorations perfectly (which means to Mommy's liking of course)!
We are all in the mood for Christmas but starting to get a little impatient waiting for our early Chistmas present - BABY! Hopefully she will greet us in the VERY near future although I think she may be stubborn and get really close to her due date which is still too far away if you ask us! LOL
